This is the official Chinese New Year picture for this Year (so pretend that other fail one doesn't exist)
Apparently rabbits nom at my inspiration.
Took me forever just to come up with a decent idea on what to draw. My dad tried to help me out by noting that it's not just the year of the rabbit but it's the year of the metal rabbit. Chewed on that for an hour or two and BOOM! Steampunk rabbit. Banged out this beauty over the weekend.
The process was pretty much the same as my first go at the new year rabbit pic: line art and tones done with marker and a colour overlay in Photoshop. I now know a lot of random facts about rabbits.
